FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed electrical connector has connector shroud and printed-circuit board with two sets of contact members. First set of contact members is disposed on front side of printed-circuit board and protrudes into hole in connector shroud; second set of contact members is disposed on rear side of printed-circuit board. Second set of contact members is made in the form of knife-type clamping contacts; connector incorporates cable holder provided with through hole and with guides on front side to pass cable conductors to be brought in contact with knife-type clamping contacts; guides disposed in vicinity of knife-type clamping contacts have deep seats to receive these knife-type clamping contacts; cable holder is designed for latching cable in connector shroud. ^ EFFECT: reduced tolerance for transfer characteristics of connector at high gain. ^ 19 cl
