The generator has a monolithic propellant block (20) inserted in a receptacle formed by a bottom wall, side walls (12b, 12c) and end walls (12d, 12e) of a body (12), while being guided by partition parts (13b, 13c) until to be abutted on partition parts. A wall of the body opposite to the bottom wall is then installed until ribs are abutted against the block and is connected to rest of the body. An independent claim is also included for a loading for an adaptive pyrotechnic gas generator.
