The device has a diffusing wing placed beneath an air exit of a single path fan-coil unit (10), and including two symmetrical profiles with inverse curves leading to a flattened section in Gaussian form. The top of the section has a fastening unit that fastens the wing on the fan-coil unit. A side of the wing placed opposite to the fan-coil unit carries a sheath that absorbs noise emitted by the fan-coil unit. An independent claim is also included for a fan-coil unit including an air diffusing device.
