The device has a corner plate (3) provided with a pair of cleats (4) placed on both sides of a plane of the plate with holes (5) for fixation of the plate on a vertical side of a wall (1). A pair of cleats (7) are placed along hypotenuse (6) of the plate and disposed on both sides of the plane. The cleats (7) are engaged in a rabbet of an ashlar string course (2). An independent claim is also included for a method of implementation of a device of fixation of a square cornice.
