PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field type temperature sensor having a temperature measurement precision which is hardly or not at all affected by a detection precision of a magnetic field strength. SOLUTION: This magnetic type temperature sensor includes at least one magnetic field source element (13) coupled to a rotatable moving member (11) and a magnetic field sensing element (14) which is coupled to a fixing section (15) and adapted to measure a parameter of a magnetic field (H) determined by the magnetic field source element (13). The parameter of the magnetic field (H) is a function of the temperature of the moving member (11). The magnetic field source element (13) includes a means (22) for rotating the direction of the magnetic field (H) along at least one axis (25) according to a function of the temperature (T) of the moving member (11).
