PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention monitoring system for a cashbox enabling the installation of a camera in a place where the presence of the camera cannot be identified and the secure photographing when the opening/closing part of the container is opened. SOLUTION: This crime prevention monitoring system comprises the camera 21 for regular photographing installed in the cashbox 2. The system also comprises a control circuit 22 which detects the brightness of an image photographed by the camera 21, and when it is detected by a variation in the brightness that the opening/closing part of the container is opened, stores image data photographed by the camera or transmits the image data to the outside.
