PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally and effectively perform construction at the time of rotatively inserting a steel pipe pile with a rotating blade into the ground, and to decide specifications of the steel pipe pile in order to surely secure a long-term tolerable holding force stipulated in the Building Standard Law. SOLUTION: The steel pipe pile embedded in the ground to support acting loads is constituted of a steel pipe forming the main body of the steel pipe pile, a spiral blade connected to the outer periphery of the tip of the steel pipe, a closing disc connected to the inside face of the tip of the steel pipe to close the opening of the tip of the steel pipe and a triangular cutting edge in the tip shape projecting downward the tip of the steel pipe and jointed thereto. The cutting edge is jointed to the closing disc so as to bring out the earth in the ground digged out by the cutting edge to the lowest end of the blades. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
