PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing deterioration for properly evaluating deterioration and a degree of emergency regardless of the shape and size of a bridge composed of a superstructure work and a substructure work in a single span or a multi-span. SOLUTION: The method for diagnosing the deterioration of a bridge composed of the superstructure work and the substructure work in the span or the multi-span includes: a process for registering items including the span number of the bridge and the basic number of the substructure work to a database; a span correction process for distributing an evaluation point on the superstructure work and the substructure work on the basis of the span number of the bridge and the basic number of the substructure work; a superstructure work point distribution process for distributing an evaluation point on a member constituting the superstructure work; a substructure work point distribution process for distributing the evaluation point on a member constituting the substructure work; a process for evaluating the deterioration of the superstructure work and the substructure work by summing the product of the evaluation point and a damage rank at each distributed member; and a process for performing a degree-of-emergency evaluation of the bridge.
