PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection damper which can respond to a request to downsize a shape. SOLUTION: This connection damper 10, which is fixed to a connection part of a wooden framework structure, comprises a first rigid plate 12 which has a column fixing part 18 to be fixed to a column, a second rigid plate 14 which has a horizontal member fixing part 20 to be fixed to a horizontal member, and a visco-elastic material 16 of sheets bonded and laminated between the rigid plates 12 and 14. In the visco-elastic material 16, a shear modulus G is in the range of 200-1,000 kPa; tanδis 0.3 or more; and a maximum shear deformation is in the range of 300-600%. The connection damper 10 satisfies the expression: L/90≤d≤L/45, wherein d (cm) represents the thickness of the sheet of the visco-elastic material 16 and wherein L (cm) represents shorter one of a distance from a column abutting surface of the column fixing part to a distant-end of the visco-elastic material and a distance from a horizontal member abutting surface of the horizontal member fixing part to the distant end of the visco-elastic material.
