PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability by preventing abrasion, cracking and damage, when switching is performed between the use and nonuse states of a cap; to soften a feeling of click in the switching; and to expand an allowable range of dimensional accuracy in the process of working and assembly. SOLUTION: In this coated film transfer implement, a transfer head 7 is formed of a flexible synthetic resin, and the cap 24 is provided in the state of being held in the transfer head 7 and made longitudinally movable. The cap 24 is longitudinally moved, so that the switching can be performed between the use state wherein a front end of the transfer head 7 protrudes from the cap 24, and the nonuse state wherein the front end of the transfer head 7 is housed in the cap 24.
