<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black compound to be used for ink-jet printing and writing utensils, excellent in ozonous gas resistance, light resistance, moisture resistance and color rendering, and high in storage stability as a printing liquid as well, and to provide an ink composition containing the black compound. <P>SOLUTION: The black compound is a trisazo compound of formula(1)[ wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each H, a halogen atom, cyano, carboxy, sulfo, a (alkyl- or phenyl-substituted) sulfamoyl, phosphate group, nitro, acyl, ureido, a (hydroxy- or alkoxy-substituted) alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, a (sulfo- or carboxy-substituted) alkoxy or acylamino group; A is phenyl or naphthyl; and n is 0 or 1 ]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
