<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower capable of efficiently increasing the wind power of transporting air flow with a simple structure without increasing the rotary speed of a rotary knife or using a special apparatus such as a blower. <P>SOLUTION: The lawn mower is provided with a mower device 15 having a rotary knife 19 and liftably attached to a traveling machine body 1, a nearly cylindrical exhaustion duct 60 extending from the mower device 15 in nearly horizontal direction, and a grass-collection box 23 connected to the exhaustion duct 60. A plurality of vertically extending slit through-holes 64 are opened on the upper face of the exhaustion duct 60 in a manner arranged in longitudinal direction interposing a proper space between the slits.
