<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the problem that at recovery of used consumables a user is requested to perform troublesome operation of answering or inputting required information each time when the user facsimiles or telephones service centers of respective makers or accesses a home page of a web site. <P>SOLUTION: When it is detected by a consumables residual quantity detecting means that residual quantity of consumables is small, a consumables order system, in which an image forming apparatus or a host computer orders the consumables for an order receiving side server, operates and sends information for placing an order to the order receiving side server and further information for recovering the consumables detected by the consumables residual quantity detecting means is sent from the order receiving side server to the image forming apparatus or the host computer and based on the information, data about a procedure for recovering the consumables can be optionally output from the image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
