<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for a footstool capable of increasing safety for stepping up and down between an entrance and a dirt floor part by using a footstool and also following up the adjustment of the height of the footstool. <P>SOLUTION: This fixture is formed by combining a rail side fixture 32 fixing the upper end thereof to the rail of the entrance by using a strip-shaped metal plate slender in the vertical direction with a footstool side fixture 33 fixed to the footboard of the footstool.
