APPARATUS FOR REMOVING REFUSE AND DEODORIZING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing refuse and deodorizing that can remove efficiently floating matters on the water surface with a simple structure.

SOLUTION: Water in a water tank 4 raises its level above a predetermined one due to make-up water, flows over a weir of a trough 11 located upstream into the trough 11 and leaves through a drain hole 12. The floating matters 13 that have floated up to the water surface are discharged with the water through the trough 11 and the drain hole 12. The weir of the trough 11 located downstream is sufficiently higher than that located upstream to prevent water from flowing over the weir located downstream into the trough 11. The trough 11 is placed so as to cross the water tank 4 in the direction of water flow and thus prevents the floating matters 13 that have floated up to the water surface from flowing downstream and keeps water to be suctioned by a pump 6 clean.
