<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new method for communicating specification of a destination and a desired payment means and to make evaluation of a driver and an advertisement related to the destination more effective. <P>SOLUTION: A taxi management system has a taxi, a taxi company, a network connecting the two, and a portable terminal owned by a user. The taxi has a radio communication device for receiving positional information and user information from the portable terminal, a taximeter, a route management device, and an advertisement display device. In addition, a car navigation apparatus can be equipped. The taxi company has a map information system, an advertisement management system, a fare charge system, and a route information management system.
