<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with a color element where the color element is formed all over the area in a pixel area, a manufacturing method for the substrate with the color element and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate 1A with the color element is a substrate where a filter layer 111F is formed on a supporting substrate 12. In the substrate 1A, the filter layer 111F is obtained by solidifying or hardening liquid material 111 for forming the color element imparted as a plurality of droplets 111R into the pixel area 18 demarcated by a bank 16 provided on the substrate 12.
