PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and beautiful double side grinding tool with a slider which easily and surely grinds a kitchen knife skilfully like a professional grinder. SOLUTION: This grinding tool is made by adhering two kinds of grinding tools or two kinds of re-covering type waterproof sand paper to both sides of a plastic plate. A narrow groove is provided on a both side surface center line of the plastic plate. The attachable/detachable metal plate slider with a saddle movable forward/backward by striding over the grinding tool along the groove is provided. As a result, the kitchen knife can be set right obliquely, left obliquely and vertically in relation to a moving line, and the blade can be exactly set to the grinding surface at about 15°. An attachable/detachable soft plastic installation base allowing attaching of a hook at an end center on one side to be hung anywhere, free selection of the grinding surface and stable installation on a working surface is provided.
