PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely perform the replacement work of a brush in an excitor for a generator. SOLUTION: Inspection apertures are made in its circumferential direction at both flanks of the rear of the stator frame 24 in a subexciter 21 for a generator, and each aperture is covered with a cover 38 capably of opening and closing.
