PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage connector capable of maintaining insulation performance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Receiving grooves 241 are formed in halved bodies 21 respectively, and the halved bodies form a tubular body when they are brought into a cylindrical condition. If both halved bodies 21 are matched after a resistance element 13 is assigned to one receiving groove 241 when they are in a halved condition, the resistance element 13 is held between both receiving grooves 241 and its peripheral surface is sealed. On the other hand, two insert pins 27 (position holding parts) are formed on the outside of both halved bodies 21 respectively, and are disposed at the position where the insert pins 27 face each other, in the cylindrical condition.
