PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for coaxial cable securing the strength of a component members, enabled to reduce the size and weight thereof. SOLUTION: The connector PC, to be fitted to end parts of a plurality of coaxial cables 20 arrayed in parallel on a plane, is provided with a cable-holding member 2 as well as a contact holding member 6, and a shield cover 3 as well as a ground plate 7 fitted to cover a top and bottom faces of the both holding members 2, 6, and is so structured that grounding connection parts 23a of the coaxial cables 20 get connected with at least either the shield cover 3 or the ground plate 7. A plurality of engagement concave grooves 7d accepting the ground connection parts 23a by the plural number in parallel are formed on the ground plate 7, and a plurality of engagement protrusions 3a inserted in and engaged with the respective plurality of concave grooves 7d are formed on the shield cover 3, so that the plurality of ground connection parts 23a are to be held in the concave grooves 7d by having the engagement protrusions 3a inserted in the concave grooves 7d for engagement, with the respective plurality of ground connection parts 23a accepted in the concave grooves 7d.
