PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HDD, an electronic device, and a heat radiating method, which do not affect a recording and reproducing drive means even if impacts and vibrations are applied from the outside when radiating the heat generated inside. SOLUTION: An HDD 45 and an electronic device 20 are made noiseless by surrounding the HDD 45 with foamed acoustic resin sheet 53 and a metal outer case 54. By adhering a heat radiating sheet 66a emitting far infrared rays to the inner case 50 of the HDD 45 and to the top plates 60 and 62 of the outer case 54 and also adhering a pair of far-infrared receiving materials consisting of heat radiating sheet 66b which absorbs far infrared rays to the inside of the outer case 54 positioned in a remote space or to the inside of the cover 24 of the electronic device 20, the heat stored in the HDD 45 or in the outer case 54 is radiated from the outer case 54 or the cover 24.
