PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle handsfree mail apparatus capable of minimizing an operation for preparation and confirmation work, and capable of transmitting mail without eyes away from driving or the like in e-mail transmission work on a mobile object. SOLUTION: A device is provided with: a voice-inputting microphone 3; an A/D (Analog/Digital) conversion section 11 converting the inputted voice into compressed voice data, and a VOX system 12; a voice compression processing section 13; a voice file generation section 14 generating mail data using the voice data as mail contents: a mail transmission processing section 15 externally outputting the mail data, and a communication I/F section 17; and a voice recognition section 18 controlling the system by the specified voice input.
