SOLUTION: This terminal equipment is provided with an external interface to which an external device is connected, a detection means for detecting that the external device is connected to the external interface, an acquisition means for acquiring the external device information of the connected external device, a control part 214 for making a display part 213 successively display a communication setting screen corresponding to the classification of the external device when the connection of the external device is detected by the detection means at the time of initialization, and when the external device is communication equipment according to the external device information acquired by the acquisition means and a setting control part 215 for controlling various setting.
