PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe constituted so as to enhance the detection capacity of an oblique flaw having an inclination with respect to a pipe axis. SOLUTION: An automatic ultrasonic oblique angle flaw detector of a steel pipe is constituted so that the advantage of an array probe is utilized as it is and the inclinationαin a pipe peripheral direction of the individual vibrator 11 of the array probe calculated from an incident angleθi and the inclinationβof a flaw and the pipe peripheral direction incident angleθof the array probe are provided so as not to cause fluctuations in the incident angle and water distance of the array probe 10 of an individual channel.
