PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable-harvesting machine equipped with a root hair-removing device capable of preventing the removal of the root hairs from a bad condition caused by soil, etc., attaching to crops and the root hairs of the crops from without entering into the gaps of supporting bodies for performing the root hair removal correctly. SOLUTION: This vegetable-harvesting machine is provided by installing a pair of nipping/conveying belts 9L, 9R for conveying by nipping the stems and leaves of the crops in the rear direction of a machine body, root hair-removing devices 10 for removing the root hairs of the crops under conveyance with rotary bodies 44 in the lower direction of the belts 9L, 9R and supporting bodies 43 having in a plurality of gaps 48 arranged at the root hair-removing devices 10 by a prescribed interval in left and right directions of the machine body and removing the root hairs of the crops under conveyance, entering into the gaps 48 with the rotary bodies 44.
