A photochromic laminate comprising an optical substrate, the optical substrate having, disposed at at least one major surface thereof, a photochromic surface layer portion consisting of a resin wherein a photochromic compound is dispersed, and an ultraviolet absorption film of 0.1 to 100 mum thickness superimposed on the photochromic surface layer portion of the optical substrate, characterized in that the ultraviolet absorption film exhibits a 360 nm light transmittance of >=50% and a 320 nm light transmittance of <=10%. This laminate is free from a drop of developed color density, and the oxidation deterioration of the photochromic compound can be effectively prevented to thereby realize a strikingly enhanced photochromic durability.
