<p>A method and a device for estimating the frictional coefficient of a road surface in detail by performing diversified measurements while taking into account the characteristics of an object of measurement, i.e. the road surface. The device for estimating the frictional coefficient of a road surface comprises a means (1) for measuring the reflectivity of light (albedo value a) of a region to be measured (road surface P), an image processing means (2) for analyzing the surface image (road surface image) of the region to be measured, and a means (3) for measuring the temperature (T) of the region to be measured, wherein the frictional coefficient of the region to be measured (road surface P) is estimated by performing sensor fusion using at least two paramenters out of the reflectivity of light (albedo value a), the surface image analysis results (F) and the temperature (T) of the region to be measured.</p> |
