<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device in which degree of freedom as for change of area of pixel region is high, and as a result, adjustment of brightness between respective light emitting elements and lifetime becomes possible, and control of white balance becomes easier and the lifetime of the whole display device can be made longer. <P>SOLUTION: This is the top emission type electro-optical device provided with first wiring, second wiring which approximately cross orthogonally to the first wiring, and pixel regions selected by the first wiring and the second wiring. This electro-optical device is provided which has the plurality of pixel regions, and at least one pixel region is installed at the first wiring and the second wiring by which the pixel region is selected, and at the first wiring and the second wiring beyond a unit region enclosed by the respectively neighboring first wiring and second wiring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
