PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a key switch in which a holder is thinned without losing smooth sliding without production cost increase, and without lowering of productivity. SOLUTION: A holder 20 is formed from a metal support plate 22 having an opening 21, and a plastic support frame 23 placed along the periphery of the opening of the support plate 22. The holder is assembled by putting the support frame 23 on the standing up member 24 of the peripheral portion of the opening with the face of the support plate 22 in reverse direction. An assembly body of pantograph assembly 30 with a mounting plate 40 is inserted into the opening 21 for stopping the lower portion of the pantograph to the frame 23. Then, a switching board 10 is overlapped to fix the supporting plate 22 while a rubber spring 11 is projected from the supporting plate 21.
