CIRCUIT SEARCH SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit search system which can search easily at high speed whether a plurality of specific circuits such as a failure-prone circuit and a circuit which causes increase of wasteful space are contained in circuit network data in carrying out LSI design from the circuit network data of a design object. SOLUTION: The circuit search system is configured to search each specific circuit promptly without depending on visual inspection by; creating a circuit path database by converting a connection status of a circuit element and its terminal contained in a search object circuit into a character string; converting a connection status of a circuit element and its terminal contained in each specific circuit into character strings for the number of each specific circuits and storing them; and collating the circuit path database and a search pattern of character strings of each specific circuit.
