<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution board, having an illumination automatically turned on during an electric outage, and an illumination means for brightly illuminating the periphery of an installation location of the distribution board, when the illumination is turned on, and for reducing a glare, since the distribution board is whole bright and will not have a backlight, when the distribution board is viewed at night. <P>SOLUTION: The distribution board has a box for internally mounting electric devices, such as a main switch, a branching switch, a cover attached to the box, and a door closably and pivotally attached to the cover.
