摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain turnip sushi further increased in value as a gift and visually improved in dignity more than turnip sushi which is generally sold and to provide a method for producing the turnip sushi. <P>SOLUTION: The turnip sushi is obtained by inserting slice of fish into a cut of thickly cut turnip, thinly wrapping the surface with an ingredient of malted rice fermented by previously mixing boiled rice, carrots or the like, maturing and fermenting the product, and attaching through sprinkling powdered gold to the top of the product. As the powdered gold is attached through sprinkling to the top of the finished turnip sushi producing viscous fermentation liquid, there is no loss of brightness, the glitter of the powdered gold is vivid, and graceful impression is created.
