<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit for EL elements etc., of a simplified configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The driving circuit for respectively driving a plurality of the light emitting elements 22 constituting a display 10 to emit light is provided with a plurality of modules 12 serially connected with the light emitting elements 22, column selection transistors 20 and line selection transistors 24 in arbitrary order.
