<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical film of high uniformity causing no winding deformation or color irregularity, especially an optical film of higher uniformity reduced in the difference between lots, the difference between the outer winding and inner winding of a roll or the difference between the center and end part of the roll in a lateral direction. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film wherein a hard coat layer or the hard coat layer and a functional layer are provided on a transparent plastic film base material having at least one first knurling part in a film winding direction, a second knurling part is laminated on the first knurling part after a process for applying the hard coat layer or the hard coat layer and the functional layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
