PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery controller capable of achieving improvement in temperature and size and cost reductions as well as low power consumption. SOLUTION: This battery controller is provided with a plurality of temperature sensors 22 for detecting the temperature of a battery pack 2 constituted of a plurality of battery modules connected in series, a drive circuit 12 of which one end is connected to the temperature sensor 22 to apply drive voltage to the temperature sensor 22, a filter circuit 13 which is connected to the other end of the drive circuit 12 and eliminates noises, and a microprocessor computer 18 which is connected to the temperature sensor 22 through the driving circuit section 12 and the filter circuit 13 and which controls the battery pack 2 based on a temperature signal inputted from the temperature sensor 22. With this constitution, this battery controller comprises a multiplexer 11 of which the input side is switchably connected to the plurality of temperature sensors 22, and the output side is connected to the microprocessor computer 18 either through the drive circuit 12 or the filter circuit section 13.
