PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for a recommender system capable of previously evaluating efficiency of the recommender system without actually presenting a recommendation result to a user. SOLUTION: Among recommendation object item information 31, an item used by the user is kept as an access history 32. In evaluation of the recommender system, items recommended by recommender systems 1 to n are kept as a recommendation result list 33 (1-n). In access history vectorization processing 34 and recommendation result vectorization processing 36, the access history 32 and the recommendation result list 33 are vectorized respectively based on attribute information attached to the respective items.
