PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the interval between a ticket-side guide and a ticket travel reference guide to a proper value even if tickets have variance in width, to array tickets by properly changing their directions halfway on a conveyance path, and to prevent a ticket from being broken by detecting the width of a ticket, moving the ticket-side press guide according to the width of the ticket, and controlling the gap between the ticket-side press guide and ticket travel reference guide when the ticket which is small-sized such as an Edmonson ticket is issued. SOLUTION: An issuing device for tickets which handles tickets of a plurality of sizes and rotates a small-sized ticket to change its direction has a conveying device which conveys the ticket, the travel reference guide which guides tickets, and the ticket-side press guide which can move at right angles to the travel reference guide, and moves the ticket-side press guide according to the detected width of the ticket to control the gap between the travel reference guide and ticket-side press guide.
