CONTROLLER DRIVER, MOBILE TERMINAL, AND DISPLAY PANEL DRIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller driver having a function of computing a plurality of images by using a memory with small capacity. SOLUTION: The controller driver includes a color palette circuit 23 which holds color palette data 6 in which correspondence relation with RGB data corresponding to a color reference number is described; a 1st memory part 22a which holds 1st layer data 5a consisting of 1st RGB data specifying a color of a 1st layer image; a 2nd memory part 22 which holds 2nd layer data 5b consisting of a color reference number specifying a color of a 2nd layer image; and an arithmetic circuit 24 which generates composite image data 30 from the 1st layer data 5a and 2nd layer data 5b. The arithmetic circuit 24 converts the color reference numbers into 2nd RGB data representing the colors corresponding thereto by using the color palette data 6 and operates the 1st RGB data and 2nd RGB data to generate RGB data of the composite image data 30.
