PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioning system capable of optionally controlling air cooling capacity within a capacity range of a motor and a motor controller in idling stop. SOLUTION: The vehicular air conditioning system comprises a target current setting means 31 for setting a target current value 41 of the motor 8, and a capacity calculating means 17a that calculates the capacity of a compressor 5 based on a target current 41 set by the target current setting means 31 and motor current 40 detected by a motor current detecting means 30 and outputs a capacity control command to a capacity control means 9. The target current 41 is set based on various conditions, and the capacity control of the compressor 5 is performed so that the detected motor current 40 is the target current 41.
