<p>A mold marking device (1) is capable of easily lending itself to the thickness of a mold and keeping down the cost. The mold marking device (1) is adapted to be insertion-wise installed in a mold for marking a predetermined indication on a molded article molded in a cavity, and includes a marking body (2) having an engraving section for the indication purposes in the cavity-side front end surface, wherein the device (1) comprises a base member (4) removably connected to the tail end of the marking body (2), a flange (42) disposed in the tail end of the base member (4) and adapted to abut against the outer surface of the mold to control the insertion depth with respect to the mold, the length of the base member (4) being set such that the front end surface of the marking body (2) is flush with the inner surface of the mold on the cavity side.</p> |
