The heat exchanger consists of a panel with heat exchange medium carrier pipes. Each pipe (3) contains at least one element (8) in its flow chamber (7), which generates a turbulent heat carrier fluid flow and produces a controlled pressure loss. The element consists of a spiral, which is fitted into the tube and extends over its complete length. The heat exchanger forms the absorber for a solar collector, or is a ceiling heating/cooling unit, or wall heater. The panel consists of coated copper sheets, stainless steel, or aluminium. The medium pipes consist of similar materials and are welded to the panels.
