<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid frosting to an evaporator of a refrigerating cycle of controlling the temperature and the humidity of an object chamber and to restrain fluctuation in temperature and humidity of the object chamber. <P>SOLUTION: This temperature and humidity controller includes a refrigerator for controlling the temperature and the humidity in a test chamber 1 by circulating the air in the test chamber 1 to the evaporator 13 constituting the refrigerating cycle. The evaporating temperature of a refrigerant in the evaporator 13 is adjusted to adjust the detection value of the evaporating temperature of the evaporator 13 to a preset temperature set to a temperature exceeding the frosting temperature, whereby even if disturbance such as a change in the ambient temperature occurs, the evaporating temperature is kept to the preset temperature not causing frosting, so that the temperature and the humidity in the test chamber 1 is stably controlled for a long time. Further, the evaporating temperature is variably controlled to keep the evaporating temperature to the preset temperature, so that even if the preset temperature is set near the frosting temperature, frosting is prevented to expand the region of no-frost operation to the low-temperature side and to the low-humidity side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
