<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry our abnormality detection in network quantitatively by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: This invention is a network abnormality detecting device for detecting abnormality in network condition. Based on packet information flowing in the network, a deviation degree for representing a degree of deviation from a normal condition of the network is generated. At least one of deviation degree generating units 10a, 10b, 10c, and a control unit 5 for processing at least one of deviation degree, which was generated from the deviation degree generating units 10a, 10b, 10c, in an integrative way and determining whether there is abnormality or not in the network are provided.
