<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data buffer control method capable of efficiently using data buffer by efficient method and configuration, and to provide a data communications device. <P>SOLUTION: The method is used for controlling the data buffer for temporarily storing communication data. The method includes a step of setting an aging flag 7 stored, in relation to frame data to "Low (no aging)" with a first timing; a step of storing the frame data in a frame buffer 2; a step of setting the aging flag 7 to "High (aging)" with a second timing, after the first one; and a step of responding to the setting of the aging flag 7 to the "High (aging)" with a third timing after the second one, for ignoring the frame data that has not been transmitted, and for opening a buffer area in the frame data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
