<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet device allowing image input by itself even if not connecting it to an external device, and allowing the image input while performing display on an external high-resolution display. <P>SOLUTION: This position coordinate input device U has: a magnetic display panel 1 performing display according to polarity of a portion close to a display face 1a of a magnet when the magnet approaches the display face 1a; a position coordinate detection device detecting position coordinates of a position coordinate input member U2 when a tip part of the position coordinate input member U2 formed with a magnetic pole in the tip part when abutting the tip part on the display panel moves along the display face 1a in a contacting state with the display face 1a of the magnetic display panel 1; and a position coordinate transmission means transmitting the detected position coordinates to an external connection device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
