PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize thinning of an electron beam device while restraining abnormal discharge and suppressing cost rise of an electric grounding structure. SOLUTION: This electron beam device is provided with a rear plate 1 in which electron emitting elements are formed, a face plate 11 which is arranged opposite to the rear plate 1 and in which a fluorescent material that emits light by being irradiated with electron beams from the electron emitting elements and that displays an image and an electrode that accelerates the electron beams by the application of a voltage are formed, a frame 4 which is pinched and joined between the rear plate 1 and the face plate 11 and which makes up a part of a vacuum vessel together with the rear plate 1 and the face plate 11, a voltage introducing part to introduce the voltage from a voltage source, and a wiring 105 electrically independent from the voltage introducing part formed by surrounding a high-voltage site in the vacuum vessel. A resistive film is installed between the high-voltage introducing part and the independent wiring. Furthermore, the wiring 105 is formed inside and outside of the vacuum vessel and grounded.
