PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus with hardly any occurrence of soiling or unevenness on a paper surface. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a heating means fixing a toner image transferred on the form, a pressure roller pressurizing the heating means, a cleaning blade cleaning the surface of the pressure roller, a supporting means supporting the first surface of the cleaning blade, an attaching part provided in the fixing device to which the supporting means can be attached, a pressing means pressing a second surface which is the rear side of the first surface of the cleaning blade and an attaching means attaching the cleaning blade and the pressing means to the supporting means so that a space T is formed in the direction of thickness of the cleaning blade in at least one of the places between the cleaning blade and the supporting means or between the cleaning blade and the pressing means by carrying out fitting to holes provided on the cleaning blade and holes provided on the pressing means, leaving the space in between.
