PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can display numbers and English letters with combinations of minimum numbers of display segments and can make the font of the display easy to read. SOLUTION: This display device comprises a combination of display segments 1 to 13, which are controlled to selectively light to display numbers and English letters. The display segment 2 is shorter in length than the display segment 1 and the display segment 3, and arranged shifting to the side where the display segment 4 and display segment 5 are arranged on the whole along the length.
