PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of changing a flow rate. SOLUTION: In this pump 10, an impeller 16 having centrifugal blades is arranged inside a pump chamber 50, and fluid at a predetermined flow rate is flowed from a suction port 54 of the pump chamber 50 to its discharge port 58 by rotating the impeller 16 by a motor 12. The pump 10 can rotate the impeller 16 in a normal or reverse direction, and reduces the flow rate at the time of the reverse rotation of the impeller 16 compared with that at the time of the normal rotation.
